After many months of attempting to find a sales representative to visit bookshops, schools and libraries in the United Kingdom, we are pleased and privileged to introduce Krisitina Vaughan as our first ever Brand Ambassador.
Kristina, likewise, is honoured to have joined Blue Falcon Publishing’s team. By now, a few of you may have heard either of or from Kristina. We present a bit of Kristina’s background here along with some detail on the responsibilities of the role.
Since graduating from the University of Kent with a very ‘difficult-to-utilise’ degree in Classical Studies, Kristina worked as a Senior Bookseller and Marketing/Events Assistant with an independent bookstore in her local county. In that role, she worked alongside publishing houses such as Faber Faber, David Fickling, and Canelo for various authors with wildly differing genres from Viking historical fiction, to picture books about puffins.
Presently, Kristina is “traveling the country with a car full of catalogues and toffees to give away”(as she likes to say), to talk with retailers, libraries, and schools investigating generating sales through our becoming a supplier for their stock, stimulating interest in hosting author events and gathering feedback to make improvements to suit their needs.
We have high hopes of accomplishing much and if nothing else, Kristina states “working with Blue Falcon Publishing has already been a great adventure!”
Although we have been around for some time, this is our first blog post. We have a lot of catching up to do, but are up for the task.
